BANK ACCOUNT!!!

A 92-year-old, petite,  well-poised and proud man, who is fully dressed each morning by eight  o’clock, with his hair fashionably combed and shaved perfectly, even  though he is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today.

His  wife of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary. After  many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, he  smiled sweetly when told his room was ready.

As he maneuvered  his walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of his tiny  room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on his window. I  love it,’ he stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just  been presented with a new puppy.

Mr. Jones, you haven’t seen the  room; just wait.’

‘That doesn’t have anything to do with it,’ he  replied.

Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time.

Whether I like my room or not doesn’t depend on how the  furniture is arranged … it’s how I arrange my mind. I already decided  to love it. ‘It’s a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have  a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have  with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be  thankful for the ones that do.

Each day is a gift, and as long  as my eyes open, I’ll focus on the new day and all the happy memories  I’ve stored away.. Just for this time in my life.

Old age is  like a bank account. You withdraw from what you’ve put in.

So,  my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank  account of memories!

1. Free your heart from hatred.

2.  Free your mind from worries.

3. Live simply.

4. Give  more.

5. Expect less.

Think about this. You will receive a miracle tomorrow.

To be happy for an Hour take a nap

To be happy for a Week take a vacation

But to be happy for a Life time….help somebody else!

There is no higher goal in life then to strive to be Happy…so go on and help somebody else!

The best way to do this is to enrich their lives not by giving them a handout …

but buy giving them a hand up !

You can do this many ways by helping physically, monetarily with a loan, or passing on some great insight into your hard earned experiences.

I have done this for many years and find my life is well enriched from the people I am priviledge to meet,  some I know and many I do not.

But,  it does not matter either way and here’s a sample of what you can expect.  Letters like this …well to be honest…make me happy-  not because I get them, but because Why I get them.

But what most people dont appreciate is it’s one of the immutable laws of nature that if you dont have integrity you simply cannot succeed.

I am far from a religious man in the traditional sense of the word. I dont believe in the traditional theocracy. But I do believe in heaven and hell with a difference.

I dont think you die before you get there.

They say a coward dies a thousand deaths. Its in this sense I believe in heaven and hell.

If you lie cheat and steal, other may not know it , or you might pass this off as

I dont attend organised religious activities of any kind for any reason.

You might then wonder how an atheist believes in heaven and hell!

Well , I do.

The only difference is I dont believe you ‘go there’ when you die to pay for your sins or be rewarded for your good deeds.

I believe you enter heaven or hell a lot sooner than that , in fact while you are still very much alive,  and live in this ‘place’ for many years , based on your actions and intentions in life.

It is impossible unless you have psychopathic tendencies to live happily and in peace if you conduct yourselves in a less than happy and less than peaceful way.

Lie, cheat and steal, and lets say you never get caught, truth is you at the deepest level of your soul, know this is wrong .

Why?

Because if you know right from wrong, you of all people know of  your actions and intentions ( no matter how much you try to deny this or justify your  actions).

It is this knowing that never leaves you,  and is carried with you as a heavy burden that gets heavier over time.

This weight will wear you down, emotionally, spiritually and over time make your life anything but what it could/should be.

Hi my name is Rudi  and I am currently living in South Africa in a small town called Vanderbijlpark. At this moment I am studying for a Safety Officer due to the fact that I lost my job working for a Engineering Company that only used me to make money for themselves by selling my time. I lost everything because of this matter and I am trying to find my way back starting from scratch. While going through the books I saw this red book with the name written on it How to Make Money out of Thin Air and it immediately caught my attention I then bought this book that cost me Ghc 8 that is 8 dollars more or less. To be honest with you that book changed my life in so many ways just to think how we are selling our time for nothing just to make a living for ourselves. Brian I just want to thank you for sharing all the information given in your book this is really some serious stuff and I believe that this information will help me build my own company one day and then share this secrets with all my colleagues, friends and family.

They say when a student is ready the teacher appears. This gentleman found his teacher under a tree in Ghana Africa…how great is that!

This answer could be complex but its actually quite simple really….

Most people become disappointed and disillusioned because they take on the dreams of others. They see and want what others have got,  and are rarely inward focused.

In other words, they are looking at life the wrong way!!!

Its no wonder they can never achieve their dreams.

How can you dream of becoming a world class super model, if you simply dont have the height or looks.?

You can’t, but you can look inwards at your own strengths and natural assets and become for example a world class teacher , or world class designer or anything else you have the talent to be.

In simpler terms , what I am suggesting is that people fail to live their dream because they covet what other people have and are not grateful for what they themselves have,  and pursue the wrong dreams.

What stands between you and living your dream,  is to take  inventory of yourself and become fantastically conscious and grateful for what you have,  ….and not what you dont have!

This is a life that is worth living , and one in which you will never be disappointed.

Remember the old saying…

Rich People get what they want!

Happy people want what they have!

There’s nothing wrong with being Rich , except being Rich and Unhappy.

Yet its one of the most important questions you must ask yourself.

Your brain is an incredible piece of software that can and will become incredibly resourceful if the dream and desire is there to constantly think about it. Its this persistence and desire to having something badly enough that allows us to move toward it slowly or quickly for some.

Success is not a sprint…it’s a marathon,  which is why most people don’t succeed.

They want the prize but not the work and effort to get there, and why THE SECRET eludes them. This is the real SECRET behind the SECRET.

According to James Allen in his 1902 classic ‘As a Man Thinketh” a title taken from the bible, most of us are anxious to improve our circumstances yet unwilling to improve ourselves.

Prosperity and happiness cannot happen when the old self is stuck in its old ways.
